OVERVIEW
The RIBAS effectively provides an in-cab virtual instructor reminding drivers of the desired driving parameters, resulting in improved cars fuel consumption, driver efficiency, customer travelling comfort and reduction of wear and tear on the vehicle.
KEY FEATURES
Standard Event Configuration
The RIBAS™ panel uses 5 LED indicators to display the following events:
R Over Revving
I Excessive Idle
B Harsh Breaking
A Harsh Acceleration
S Over Speeding
LED display
The icon associated with each event is indicated by illuminating the corresponding LED and the sounder will sound for 1 second. Each LED is continuously illuminated for the duration of the event and then will flash for a period of 15 seconds after which the LED is turned off.
Limitations
The RIBAS™ display uses one of the available Serial Ports on the FM Communicator and therefore other FM options requiring serial connectivity may not be compatible. Please check with your MiX Telematics representative.
