Johannesburg, 5 January 2012 - Since MiX Telematics was awarded the tender for the Eskom account in July 2010 and started introducing its fleet management technology into the workings of Eskom, the partnership has thrived.

MiX Telematics is proud to report overall growth including a 7,7% increase in revenue, an 11% increase in annuity revenue and a 29,3% increase in Headline Earnings per Share (HEPS). Annuity revenue remains one of the company’s key performance measures, and now represents a healthy 60% of total revenue.

In order to go green, fleet operators need to reduce their impact on the environment – the main factor being fuel usage. By reducing the amount of fuel used, fleet operators also experience significant cost reductions, such as a proven benefit by MiX Telematics of 10% average savings on energy costs.
