The Communications Manager will provide a broad range of communications and marketing support services to the marketing department and the organisation. This is a hands-on role and we are looking for a person with drive and excellent communication skills. The position reports directly to the Marketing Manager.
The Communications Manager will direct and manage all company's internal, external and online communications requirements including public relations, media relations, copywriting and websites. The role includes the management of agencies and freelancers, where applicable.

Minimum Requirements and Experience needed:
Tertiary Qualification: A marketing degree.
Experience: At least 5 years experience as a Brand Manager, with a track record of successful 'game changing' initiatives and 'out of the box thinking'. The successful candidate is creative and open minded, has the ability to easily establish and maintain good relationships at all levels. Above all the individual will be resilient enough to excel in a challenging target driven environment. Excellent writing and authoring skills is a basic requirement.
Objective of the vacancy: The purpose of this job is to develop a strong consumer brand that will be rolled out nationally, in an integrated marketing communication strategy.
