Tahograf implements 200+ FM Communicators

In order to increase business operations and the quality of service in this year, the MiX Telematics FM Communicator has been implemented on all vehicles.
One of the reasons for the introduction of the system is the possibility of tracking each vehicle from the office, which means the possibility of prompt reactions to all market and customer requests, for example, in case of delivery problems, redistribution of goods, etc.
The FM Communicator was implemented on the company’s complete vehicle fleet, and so control of delivery vehicles (delivery vans and trucks) as well as employees’ cars was ensured. A large problem which every vehicle fleet faces is quality and systematic monitoring of vehicle exploitation in distribution, and this system quickly and easily solves that problem, and it gives a transparent view of all the vehicle fleet information. The system also gives information on the driving style of the driver, a view of exceeded speed, driving in the green zone of engine speed, as well as average gas mileage per vehicle and driver. Through all this, the system functions as a personal trainer and enables drivers to break their bad habits and driving styles in a very short period of time.
With the help of integrated GPS and GSM systems, dispatchers and other employees from the office have the ability to monitor vehicle movements in real time or make a historical view of the movements of every vehicle, and in doing so, know the true profitability for each vehicle as well as its maximum efficiency.
By marking customer locations on a digital street map, quick and detailed views of the visited locations, times of arrival and departure as well as length of vehicle retention at each location are enabled. By creating so-called “prohibited zones” it’s easy to monitor all unnecessary vehicle stops and delays and thus directly influences the generation of operative costs, i.e. their reduction.
The Stanic Ltd. company mainly distributes products with special storage regimes under controlled temperatures between -20°C to +4°C with its vehicles. Due to this, theFM Communicator was installed with a temperature sensor in all vehicles with refrigerators, which allows for strict monitoring and confirmation that the product was transported within the permitted temperature range boundaries.
