MiX Telematics and FMSi Oman at TransOman Expo

MiX Telematics in cooperation with FMSI Oman (an authorized MiX Telematics partnerin Oman) successfully participated in TransOman Expo and Conference held from 13 - 15 October 2009.
TransOman, the first of its kind event catering to the transport and logistics industry in the Sultanate, highlighted topics such as:
- ports and free zone development projects
- land transportation logistics challenges
- latest trends and best practices in logistics
- human resource
- training and skill development
- innovative technologies and solutions for transport and logistics
Our joint presence was a concrete step towards gaining potential clients and promoting our higher level of service coupled with superior IVMS products to the logistics and the Oil & Gas industry in OMAN.

The exhibition has attracted international interest from key logistics and transport hubs such as the USA, UAE, Netherlands, Jordan, Germany, Sri Lanka, Syria, United Kingdom ,South Africa and Oman. 47 companies converged at this TransOman expo including Aircraft, airline companies, commercial busses, truck, special purpose wagons, trailers and equipment, Logistics service providers, port authorities, logistics building constructors, warehouse equipments and rack systems producers, freight distribution centers, mobile communications, security systems automatic identification systems, freight exchange, warehouse management, storage systems, transportation packaging, load security equipment.
TransOman presented the best opportunity for industry players to discuss industry issues, discover the latest trends in the industry, connect and do business with various suppliers and service providers. |
