OVERVIEW
The FM Keypad is small device installed inside the cab and connected to an FM on-board computer such as the FM Communicator. Using the FM Keypad, drivers can record driving reasons (for tax purposes) or dial up to 4 pre-defined numbers as determined by the customer (e.g. office, breakdown, home, police).

Recording of Driving Reasons
The trip’s driving reasons are logged by the FM Communicator, along with all other trip information, and downloaded to the front-end software for reporting.
Phone Functionality
When combined with the FM Voicekit, phone and voice calls can be made to 4 predefined numbers. The vehicle can also receive voice calls.

Network Status Display
The GSM connection is indicated with network status LED.
Automated Backlight
The FM Keypad keys are backlit, and will stay on for the duration of the trip. At the end of the trip, the backlight will remain on, for an additional 5 minutes. At the start of a new trip or if the user presses any keys, the backlight will turn back on again.
BENEFITS
On it's own, the FM Keypad gives drivers the benefit of recording driving reasons.
Combined with an FM Voicekit, the benefits extend to allowing the driver to make and receive calls to and from pre-defined numbers, thus saving communication costs.
PRODUCT SPECS
Drivers can capture data via the FM Keypad’s built-in keypad with two different key presses. Quick button presses are used for driving reason selection, and delayed button presses are used for making voice calls.
